This article is a great, devastatingly descriptive piece, and it is about fashion. So it combines two of my loves- fashion and good writing. The article is also rather amusing. It takes two fashion icons, Mary Kate and Ashley, (because let’s be honest they are) and it both delights in and accurately skewers their sense of style. It is good, good writing. And it gave me the smiles today. A side note, if you aren’t reading Man Repeller, you probably should be, particularly if you are into fashion. In general, the writers have interesting things to say about art, culture, and femininity. I also enjoyed Leandra’s post about why she doesn’t wear makeup. See below. Plus my hairdresser reads Man Repeller, and she is one of those girls that is so incredibly hip you are afraid to talk about how you still like Alkaline Trio. (Wow. Confession made.
