Writing Services
Blog Writing
$199 per blog
Blogs are great for answering customer questions and bringing people to your website. I can help you come up with a blog idea, or you can pick a topic.
You can send me notes, or I can interview you to write the blog. I’ll also conduct research if needed. Once I have a draft written, I’ll send it to you for review, and each blog includes one round of edits. The final product is about 800-1,800 words long.
Newsletter Writing
$30/per hour, dependent on project
Newsletters are typically how you communicate with people who are already your customers. I can write articles to keep them engaged, copy that shows what you’ve been up to, or content that includes an ask for donation or purchasing services.
For a short email newsletter in the 200-500 word range, that would be about $100. If you want a multiple-article style newsletter, the price will depend on the number of articles.
Website Copy
$30/per hour, dependent on project
If your website needs some help, I can review the copy and give you the idea of the scope of the project.
$60 to review a small website.
Then, depending on how much writing must be done, I’ll charge $30/per hour. For most small websites, it won’t cost more than $300.
Editing Services
$30/per page, or about 500 words, dependent on project
Maybe you’ve started on a writing project and need feedback. I can help with that. I’ll edit your copy to catch grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes, but will also edit for flow and ease of readability.
For a one-page document or about 500 words, it will cost $30, for two pages $60.
Branding Help
$30/per hour,
dependent on project
I love coming up with brand names, tag lines, brand stories, and other brand elements.
I can also create a Tone of Voice Guide, which helps you and your team create future content by defining what your brand voice sounds like and the grammatical and style rules you’ll adhere to.
Ala Carte
$30/per hour, dependent on project

FAQs
What is your turn-around time?
It will depend on how many other projects I’m working on. But once I’ve accepted your writing request, I can usually turn a blog around in 3-5 days.
Do you offer discounts to returning customers?
If you’ve already worked with me, I’d consider offering a discount if you’re buying multiple blogs. Please contact me with questions. I understand a small business has a tight budget, but please remember, this is also a small business.
